DroneBlocks 4.1.1 introduces various improvements and bug fixes to enhance the flight experience.

Key features included in DroneBlocks 4.1:

• Pre-flight checks to ensure compliance with drone specifications
• Validation of various flight parameters such as curve range, flight distance ranges, and arc radius curve checks
• User-friendly messages indicating problematic values in both metric and imperial units

Prior updates in DroneBlocks have added the following:

• Virtual joysticks for drone control in DroneBlocks 4.0
• Block caching for block loading when offline in DroneBlocks 3.6
• Bug fixes and improved connection process in DroneBlocks 3.5, 3.4, and 3.0

Additional enhancements in earlier versions include:

• Support for Robomaster TT (Tello Talent) LED block coding in DroneBlocks 3.4
• Highlighted blocks during Tello's mission execution in DroneBlocks 3.3
• Tello and Tello EDU video feed and camera blocks in DroneBlocks 3.0
• Telemetry features such as altitude, ToF, pitch, roll, and yaw for Tello and Tello EDU in DroneBlocks 2.6
• Offline storage capability to access and save missions when offline in DroneBlocks 2.5

Further improvements encompassed better Tello connection processes, handling of Tello network display, switching between DJI and Tello blocks without encountering blank screen issues, and setting default units to metric for Tello users in different versions of the app.

DroneBlocks has a comprehensive curriculum bundle available online that can be accessed for free. The curriculum covers eight engaging programming lessons which can be utilized by educators to teach STEM subjects and explore various aspects of programming with drones. Notably, one lesson focuses on a "Dronie" mission, integrating geometry concepts and teaching students how to determine the optimal camera angle for capturing the perfect dronie shot. Other lessons explore topics such as loops, flying in star patterns, shooting panoramas, and more.
